- 4 oz tequila
- 1 cup pomegranate juice
- 2 oz Triple Sec
- 1/2 lime peeled and halved
- 2 tbsps granulated sugar
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 lime sliced thin

Instructions
- Place tequila, pomegranate juice, triple sec, half a lime, sugar and ice cubes into the blender in the order listed and secure lid.
- Start on low speed, turn the blender on and slowly increase to high speed.
- Blend for 45 seconds.
- Serve in a chilled cocktail glass and garnish each serving with one or two thin slices of fresh lime.
Recipe Notes
The Pomarita Cocktail tastes even better if made ahead of time and left to thoroughly chill in the freezer until a few ice crystals begin to appear.
If you're using a Vitamix, select Variable 1, turn on the machine and slowly increase to Variable 10, then to High. Blend for 45 seconds.
