The singer became vegan because of her love for animals, as well as the health benefits. “…I am a firm believer in eating a full plant-based, whole food diet that can expand your life length and make you an all-round happier person,” Grande told The Mirror UK. “It is tricky dining out, but I just stick to what I know – veggies, fruit and salad – then when I get home I’ll have something else.”

The Oscar-winner credits the diet for her glowing skin. “Diet is a big part of it.,” she told InStyle. “I’m vegan, and I drink a lot of water. If I have dairy, I break out immediately. Her dedication to veganism runs deeper than glowing skin — she’s a vegan activist currently producing and narrating the upcoming doc Eating Animals. And yes, she lives in Paris and no, she still doesn’t eat croissants.
