What to do with green tomatoes

I just cleaned up my garden on the weekend in anticipation of today’s awful, terrible, icy cold weather and picked piles of green tomatoes that probably won’t have a chance to ripen. Many of them are cherry tomatoes (pear tomatoes, actually – small and pear-shaped), so fried green tomatoes isn’t really an option. I was thinking green tomato relish, but I just found an article on green tomatoes on the site oregonlive.com that’s giving me a lot more ideas, like Green Tomato and Apple Hazelnut Crisp.
