Tea-Inspired Cocktail Recipes for Summer

Cool off this weekend with an antioxidant-infused cocktail. Here are three recipes to try from David’s Tea.
Goji Pop Sangria
8 Perfect Spoonfuls of Goji Pop loose leaf tea
2 cups water
1 cup light and fruity red wine
1/2 cup Triple Sec
2 oranges and 2 lemons, sliced into circles
Directions:
Put tea and boiling water directly into a teapot of heat resistant pitcher.
Let the tea infuse until it’s cool
Leaving the tea in the mix, add wine, triple sec, lemons and oranges.
Pour over ice and serve.
Strawberry Mimosa
2 heaping Perfect Spoonfuls of Strawberry Colada loose leaf tea
2 cups water
1 Tbsp agave nectar
Sparkling wine (substitute club soda for non-alcoholic version)
Directions:
Steep tea for 5 minutes, then strain.
Fill a medium bowl with ice and pour in tea.
Stir in agave nectar and mix until dissolved.
Pour mixture into a pitcher while straining out the ice.
Fill champagne flutes halfway with sparkling wine, then fill the rest of the way with chilled tea. Substitute club soda for a kid-friendly version.
Peachy Keen
3 Perfect Spoonfuls of Just Peachy loose leaf tea
2 cups water
1 Tbsp agave nectar
2 14 oz. cans of peach slices
Vodka, rum or whiskey (optional)
Directions:
Steep tea for 5 minutes, then strain.
Add agave and mix in until dissolved.
Fill half a 2 litre sized container with ice.
Pour in the cans of peaches and tea. Mix until chilled.
Top individual cups with 1 oz. vodka, rum or whiskey for a tasty twist.
