Sip Away Stress with this Soothing Turmeric Latte
Turmeric is anti-inflammatory and helps improve mental clarity.

This is one of my favourite tonics. I often have it in the morning, or as a delicious after-dinner treat. I find it to be incredibly soothing (kind of like this oat flour beauty mask) and comforting, and a few years ago, in the middle of a very emotionally taxing time, this Golden Milk latte was the only thing that consistently sounded good to me. It is full of anti-inflammatory turmeric, which aids stiff joints and improves brain function. Blending turmeric with a little black pepper enables the body to more easily absorb the turmeric, and the almond oil is a dose of healthy fat. Don’t miss these healthy turmeric recipes.
Golden Milk Latte
1⁄8 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 cup water
8 ounces milk, preferably raw, or any kind of milk or nut milk that you like
2 tablespoons almond oil
Raw honey to taste
1⁄8 teaspoon cardamom or ghee (optional)
1⁄8 teaspoon ground black pepper (optional)
Directions: In a blender, combine the turmeric, water, milk, almond oil, and honey. Pulse until well blended, then strain the liquid through cheesecloth into a cup, discarding the solids. Drink warm or cool, topped with cardamom or ghee and pepper (if using).
