Meet the Activity Tracker You Can Swim With
Get excited about these new launches from Fitbit, including the brand’s first-ever swim-proof activity tracker.
Your fall workout motivation is here thanks to Fitbit’s two new trackers, the Charge 2 and the Flex 2.
The Flex 2 is a sleeker, swim-friendly version of the original Flex tracker. Like the original, the Flex 2 tracks steps, distance, calories burned and sleep. New features include SmartTrack auto exercise recognition, reminders to move, and-the best part-swim tracking. It’s the brand’s first swim-proof fitness tracker, so you can finally count those swim workouts.

The Charge 2 is the newer model of the Charge HR, Fitbit’s most popular device to date. The Charge 2 features a larger screen, connected GPS (so you can see real-time stats like pace and distance, while a map of your route is saved in the app), and 2- or 5-minute guided breathing sessions personalized to your heart rate.

And, if you’ve updated your Fitbit app, you’ll notice a new “Adventures” mode has been added. If your everyday surroundings are less than inspiring, this feature’s for you. Simply select your “Adventure” and you can virtually explore landmarks like Yosemite National Park through stunning panoramic images shot by award-winning photographer Chris Burkard.
