Put your travel plans in action and discover incredible destinations with Marriott International’s adventure-seeking program, Marriott Moments.
Combine your love of loyalty programs with your late summer travel plans for a total win-win this vacation season.
Marriott International has just announced it will introduce one set of unified benefits across all its properties. The program, which kicks off in August, lets members earn more points faster than ever — on average 20% more points for every dollar spent. And, for the first time, members will have access to book stays and earn/redeem points among 29 global brands comprising 6,500 hotels in 127 countries and territories, such as The Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton and Starwood destinations.
Additionally, the company is expanding its experiential offerings through its program, Marriott Moments. In total, there will be 110,000 new Moments experiences in 1,000 destinations (Belize is a go-to hotspot for active travel), ranging from destination tours and day trips like shark cage diving in Gansbaai, South Africa, to once-in-a-lifetime events like exclusive concerts and sporting events. It will also expand to include hands-on master classes and meet and greets with some of the world’s top athletes, musicians and chefs.
“We hope to inspire our members whatever their travel passion, whether it is resorts featuring overwater bungalows, peaceful secluded island settings, ski-in/ski-out mountain resorts, towering hotels with picture-worthy views or even former palaces converted into hotels,” says David Flueck, senior vice president of Global Loyalty, Marriott International.
The company is also offering a program called Moments Live, a collection of premiere musical and culinary events powered by Marriott’s partnership with Universal Music Group (UMG) and its newest partnership with LITV Entertainment Group.
