Kylie Jenner Jumps On Celebrity Diet Bandwagon
From Gwyneth to Beyoncé, lots of celebrities have tried this way of eating. But it’s a big lifestyle change – can Kylie commit?
Kylie Jenner vegan post on Snapchat
Kylie Jenner is known on social media for many things – from sharing photos of her Lip Kits to bikini selfies. But she’s also known for sharing photos of meals she cooks herself.
But her cooking hasn’t exactly been all clean eating. She’s done cinnamon rolls, sliders, and lots of bacon. But the youngest of the Kardashian clan recently posted that she’s “trying this whole vegan thing.” The “whole vegan thing” she’s referring to is the lifestyle of celebrities such as Beyoncé, Gwyneth Paltrow, Alicia Sylverstone, Leah Michele, Olivia Wilde and lots others.
In the post, you’ll see two purple corn tacos, a bowl of salsa and a half-drunk smoothie. Another pic is a plateful of “Vegan Raw Soy Free Dairy Free Grain Free Nachoos mmm.” (SIC)
The benefits of the vegan diet are plentiful, so if Jenner is willing to stick to it she just might be healthier over the long run. Vegan diet has been show to protect against heart disease, hypertension, diabetes and obesity. While media is speculating that she’s gone full vegan, it’s tough to say from the post if she’s trying a vegan restaurant, trying vegan recipes or truly committing to the vegan lifestyle.
Kylie Jenner vegan, et al
Kylie is not the only one from the Jenner-Kardashian family to venture in to a strict diet.
Kourtney Kardashian follows a diet that is gluten- and dairy-free. “I think dairy is the easiest to replace,” she admits to Byrdie. “There are so many milk options and cheese options. That hasn’t been as hard, but we’re gluten-free too and that’s really hard.”)
Khloe Kardashian doesn’t opt for red meat, but she does choose foods that prevent belly bloating.
Kim Kardashian West, despite her “flu diet” joke, actually follows the Atkins plan.
