It must really be spring’Wednesday is Earth Day, and Sunday I’m running the Earth Run (just an easy 5K to get me warmed up for the Sporting Life 10K the following weekend).
In honour of Earth Day, Aveda has a special promotion going: purchase their Light the Way candle (pictured, $12) during the month of April and they’ll direct 100% of proceeds to their Earth Month partner, Global Greengrants Fund, which provides grants for community-based water projects around the world.
The candle is stress-relieving, made of clean-burning soy wax scented with organic lavender, lavandin and clary sage sourced from France. The glass holder is 95% post-consumer recycled and the outer carton is printed with soy ink on 55% post-consumer recycled paper.
