When you’re a kid, Halloween is one of the best holidays. You get to dress up as your favourite superhero or Disney princess, frighten your parents with fake spiders and collect bucket-loads of free candy from the neighbours. But, if you’re a kid with severe food allergies like Erica Ehm’s daughter it can really take the fun out of Halloween. Ehm, of YummyMummyClub.ca, has partnered with Nestlé encouraging Canadians to provide peanut-free treats to trick-or-treators. You can participate in the Paint the Town Red campaign by purchasing a box of Nestlé’s Assorted snack size bars to distribute on Halloween, and visiting YummyMummyClub.ca to make a pledge to provide these peanut-free treats made in a peanut free facility. All pledges will be entered in a contest to win a supply of Nestlé Assorted snack size bars for their street for Halloween.
