It’s Nivea’s 100th birthday, and if you’re in Toronto make a stop at Nivea Haus. In addition to some product swag, you can also find out your skin type and get expert advice on taking care of it. It’s open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Relax for a bit

Take a chill pill ‘ or take this free mediation class (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.). The session involves breathing exercises, discussion period and meditation practice. Check out the details on its Facebook page. To register email [email protected].

Sometimes walking and running events can be intimidating’especially if you’ve never done one before. This one is good for all fitness levels, promise the promoters. With two events’2.5 K and 5 K’you can run or walk either. It’s to celebrate the opening of a new Running Room location in Montreal with athlete, author and founder of Running Room, John Stanton speaking. So it’s a treat for newbies and running fanatics.
