Last year the classic raised an impressive $30,000. Fees include a round of golf, lunch, dinner and prizes. To register, email [email protected] or call 1-866-779-5144.

The Vancouver Art Gallery and the Save Your Skin Foundation is hosting a melanoma patient information symposium. It’s a rare opportunity to connect with the B.C.’s leading experts on skin health, including medical oncologist at the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton Dr. Michael Smylie, and medical oncologist at the Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver Dr. Sasha Smiljanic. Ride a bike, and loads of other stuff
June 26, all day
Kentville, N.S
This has to be one of the most rounded events ever. Life Cycle, in its first year, really has something for everyone. In addition to the 25-K, 50-K and 100-K rides, there is a beginner cycle/walk activity, and a bike rodeo for kids to teach them the rules of the road, and a mountain bike skills lesson. You can also take a Zumba, yoga or seniors fitness class, as well as a CPR training session. Chris Crawley, coauthor of Younger Next Year, will be speaking, and there will be a health fair, with booths where you can get your blood sugar and blood pressure checked. For more info, email [email protected], or to register go to atlanticchip.ca.
Take a free yoga class at the ROM
June 20, 7 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
Toronto
This is one cool way to do yoga: Flow is a vinyasa class instructed by Linda Melone with live acoustic music. The all-levels yoga session is inspired by the ROM’s Water Exhibition. Doors open at 6:30, so go early to get your spot.
