Yoga at the Lighthouse on the Green
Frederiction, every Wednesday until August 26 This coming Wednesday, why not take a yoga class at the picturesque Lighthouse on the Green. The class fee ($5 to $10) is a donation to a different local charity each week. This week learn Hatha yoga.
Dragon Boat Festival
Edmonton, August 20-22
The deadline to register for this event is tomorrow, so act fast. It’s the 14th season for the Dragon Boat Festival, and it promises to be loads of fun in an effort to promote multiculturalism in Edmonton.
Canadian Sprint Canoe Kayak championships
Regina, August 25-28
The Wascana Racing Canoe Club is hosting this year’s championship races for both single and team boat competitions with more than 1,000 athletes participating.
