Change your opinion of dry shampoo, by picking the right dry shampoo for you

Dry shampoo deserves props because it can do way more than its name implies.

“Dry shampoo allows you to wear a style longer, prevent heat damage with less styling and add speed to your beauty routine,” says Nina Farrauto, official stylist for Batiste Dry Shampoo Canada. She finds that it often gives noticeable lift and texture when sprayed into the roots of fine-haired clients. She also loves using it as a styling starter, particularly on freshly washed hair that can be limp and tricky to work with.

“This is especially key when you need to keep your hair in place for messy braids, ponytails and updos,” she says.

But if you have ever been frustrated by dry shampoo (hello white powder), then you will be happy to know that maybe that dry shampoo brand wasn’t right for you. The right way to pick the right dry shampoo is to consider your hair problem and the dry shampoo solution you’re looking for.
