Bubbly at Tiffany’s

Last evening, I attended an event at Tiffany & Co.’s flagship location on Bloor St. in Toronto. It was in celebration of this year’s Tiffany Mark Award, which honours men and women who, through their professional, creative or philanthropic efforts make a difference to their community and whose work influences us to be our best selves. The Canadian recipient this year is world-renowned photographer Edward Burtynsky. He is known for capturing images of landsapes that have been affected by human industry, and for his environmental advocacy.

A bonus to attending the award presentation and sipping on bubbly while listening to Burtynsky’s inspiring words was simply being in the Tiffany & Co. store’and so dangerously close to the gift-giving season.
