It’s been about a week since my facial at Consonant Skincare’s Flagship store, and my skin is still glowing. The Preserve & Renew Treatment offered by Consonant and Fresh.Beautiful was a two-step treatment with Stephanie Daga of BlushPretty.
First, I relaxed through a Crystal Microdermabrasion treatment which sloughed away the dull, dead surface layer of skin. While some dermabrasion treatments can leave your skin a little pink, this one was surprisingly gentle. The wand Stephanie used felt like it was lightly suctioning my skin while also exfoliating.
Step two was a low level light therapy treatment. Stephanie applied a Consonant serum to my skin and then moved the red and blue light around my face. The end result is supposed to be "softer, more radiant, younger looking skin." I can definitely vouch for the softer skin ‘ afterwards, my face felt the softest it’s ever been.
This treatment usually costs $125 at Fresh.Beautiful, but it’s being offered for $99 from November 19 – 24 at the first ever Consonant Pop-Up Facial Spa. For full details, and to reserve your appointment, visit consonantskincare.com.
