When a good friend of mine recommended this, I was a little skeptical at first because, I’ve always been a powder foundation girl. (I adore the matte and flawless coverage it leaves my face, which I never was able to achieve in the past with liquid foundations.) However, since my friend spoke so highly of CoverGirl, I thought it wouldn’t hurt to give it a try; the selling point for me was the product’s promise to leave a shine-free finish.
This foundation comes in my favorite type of dispenser, a pump applicator, making it hygienic and convenient. The 3-in-1 formula is designed to act as a primer, concealer and foundation. It pumps out as a normal liquid foundation but once it dries it leaves a powdery finish. I couldn’t believe it! I didn’t even have to use a finishing powder to keep my face matte’that’s a first! Even though I did need to re-touch with my oil bloating papers throughout the day, the foundation still remained lightweight and even. A dime-size amount was all I needed for my entire face; talk about getting your money’s worth! It’s also a great plus that it contains broad spectrum SPF 20 because we need protection from the sun ALL year round. ($15, 14 shades)
